In the Works

Here are a couple of the other paintings I am currently working on. This first one is from a photograph I took in the Tuscany region of Italy near Siena. As you might expect, it was an absolutely beautiful area. We stayed in an agriturismo off the beaten path, which really made the experience wonderful. I am only about 20% of the way into this particular painting, but the general composition is there.

This painting is about 70% of the way complete and is from a photograph of the Dolomites in northern Italy. These mountains are really and truly as jagged and sharp as you see here.  The beautiful fall colors and warm light are the parts that make this painting exciting to me.

Romans 1:20

For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
